Manufacturing Processes

Covering the raw white spandex with nylon yarn, because nylon is more easily to be dyed than spandex, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the finished elastic strip.

 

Winding the raw white nylon yarn and covered spandex onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the textile weaving machine to feed the warp yarns into the woven elastic strip.

 

Weaving the greige of the 1 inch (26MM) soft plush elastic strip with raw white nylon warp yarn, semi-polished nylon weft yarn and inside covered spandex yarn. Considering the shrinkage in dyeing and finishing process, the greige width should be made 27MM to 28MM.

 

Dyeing and ironing the 1 inch soft stretch edging strip on the continuous dyeing and finishing lines. The softer agent, levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow or color fixing agent will be used in this process according to request.

 

Inspecting the 26MM ironed elastic strip by narrow fabric folding machine and ribbon metal detectors. Then packing it into spool or layered bale wrapped with waterproof bags.

 

Load the spool or layered bale of 1inch / 26MM elastic edging/wrapping strip into strong export cartons with custom shipping marks. Our elastics and lace trims are widely used for underwear, lingerie, diaper, shoes, headwear, masks, gift ornaments, DIY items, and so on.
