Manufacturing Processes

Covering the raw spandex with black polyester yarn, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the finished black elastic band.

 

Winding the predyed black polyester yarn and covered spandex yarn onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the textile weaving machine to feed the warp yarns into the elastic band.

 

Weaving the greige of the 2inch thick elastic band with predyed black polyester warp yarn, black polyester weft yarn and inside covered spandex yarn. Considering the shrinkage in ironing process, the greige width should be made 51.5MM to 52.0MM.

 

Dyeing and ironing the 2 inch thick and brushed elastic band on the continuous dyeing and finishing lines. The softer agent, levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow or color fixing agent will be used in this process according to request.

Inspecting the 2inch finished elastic band by narrow fabric folding machine and ribbon metal detectors. Then pack it into bobbin or festooned/layered into bale wrapped with waterproof bags.
