Manufacturing Processes

Covering the raw spandex with raw white nylon yarn, because nylon is more dyeable than spandex, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the dyed edge binding tapes.

 

Winding the covered spandex yarn onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the textile weaving machine to feed the warp yarns into the edge binding tape.

  

Weaving the greige of the stretch edge binding tapes with 70D raw white covered spandex warp yarn and 100D semi-polished nylon weft yarn. Considering the widthwise shrinkage in dyeing and ironing process, the greige should be made a bit wider than the finished elastic tape.
 

Dyeing and ironing the elastic edge binding tapes on the continuous dyeing and finishing lines. The softer agent, levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow or color fixing agent can be used in this process when necessary.
 

Inspecting the dyed stretch edge binding tape by narrow fabric folding machine and ribbon metal detectors. Then roll it into spool or festoon it into bale wrapped with waterproof bags.
