Manufacturing Processes
Covering the raw spandex with raw white nylon yarn, because nylon is more dyeable than spandex, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the dyed soft woven elastic tape.
Winding the covered spandex yarn onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the textile weaving machine to feed the warp yarns into the soft elastic tape.
Weaving the greige of the microfiber soft elastic tapes with raw white covered spandex warp yarn and nylon weft yarn. Considering the widthwise shrinkage in dyeing and ironing process, the greige should be made a bit wider than the finished elastic tapes.
Dyeing and ironing the microfibre soft woven elastic on the continuous dyeing and finishing lines. The softer agent, levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow or color fixing agent can be used in this process when necessary.
Inspecting the dyed soft elastic tapes by narrow fabric folding machine and ribbon metal detectors. Then roll it into spool or festoon it into bale wrapped with waterproof bags.
