Manufacturing Processes
Winding the raw spandex from small size cone to large size metal reel (cone to hank), which is called warping, so each spandex yarn gets almost the same tension, then can be feed into the forming lace or picot elastic in knitting process to make sure each greige has the same stretchness, so to avoid curve or uneven.
Put the nylon cones onto the creels of the narrow fabric crochet knitting looms before setting the technique process. Generally, no need to warping the nylon yarns for knitted lace or picot elastics because each knitting loom is equipped with enough creels to hang the nylon cones.
Producing the greige of knitted lace edge or picot edge elastics using raw white nylon and spandex. Considering the expected shrinkage during dyeing and ironing process, the greige width should be a bit wider than that of the finished knitted elastics.
Dyeing and ironing the knitted lace elastic and picot elastic by continuous dyeing and finishing machine. The levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow agent or color fixing agent will be used in this process.
Inspecting the dyed picot elastic and lace elastic by narrow fabric folding machine and ribbon metal detectors. Basically, the color accuracy, flatness and tidiness, dimension consistency, elongation and elasticity will be checked in this process.
Packing the knitted lace or picot elastic into spool or bale wrapped with waterproof bags, then load them into strong export cartons with custom shipping marks.
