Manufacturing Processes

Covering the raw spandex with polyester yarn, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the heat transfer printed shoulder strap or waistband elastic.

 

Winding the polyester yarn and covered spandex onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the textile weaving machine to feed the warp yarns into the raw white woven elastic bands.

 

Weaving the greige of the elastic bands made of polyester and covered spandex for thermal transfer printing. Considering the widthwise shrinkage during ironning process, the greige should be made a bit wider than the finished and printed elastic bands.

 

Ironing the raw white greige of polyester spandex waistband elastics or shoulder straps by continuous dyeing and finishing machine. The levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow agent or color fixing agent will be used in this process when necessary.

 

Heat / thermal transfer printing the ironned and shrunk polyester spandex elastic bands by specified colors and patterns on the front side by using sublimating inks.

  

Inspect the heat transfer printed polyester spandex elastic bands by narrow fabric folding machine. The defective parts and shorter than 5 yards pieces will be eliminated during this process. Then pack them into roll or layered bale and load them into strong export cartons with custom shipping marks.
