Manufacturing Processes

Covering the raw spandex with nylon yarn, because raw spandex is hard to be dyed and nylon can be dyed more easily, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the striped elastic band after being finished.

 

Winding the nylon yarn and covered spandex onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the textile weaving machine to feed the warp yarns.

 

Weaving the greige of the striped elastic webbing with predyed nylon yarns. Considering the expected shrinkage during ironing process, the greige width should be made a bit wider.
 

Ironing the striped elastic band by continuous dyeing and finishing machine. The levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow agent or color fixing agent can be used in this process for piece dyed elastics, and detergent can be used for yarn predyed elastics.

 

Inspecting the yarn predyed and shrunk elastic band, then pack it by narrow fabric folding machine and metal detectors. Color accuracy, flatness and tidiness, dimension and size, elongation and metal detecting will be checked in this process.

 

Packing the elastic band into layered bale wrapped with waterproof bags. Then load them into strong export cartons with custom shipping marks.
