Manufacturing Processes

Covering the raw spandex with nylon yarn, because raw spandex is hard to be dyed and nylon can be dyed more easily, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the metallic elastic.

  

Winding the covered spandex, nylon yarn and metallic yarn onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the shuttleless weaving loom to feed the warp yarns into the forming greige of the metallic elastic strap.
 

Weaving the greige of the metallic elastic in dyeable raw white base color. Considering the expected shrinkage during dyeing and ironing process, the greige width should be a bit wider than that of the finished elastic strap.
 

Dyeing the metallic elastic greige into specified colors with precise matching by continuous dyeing and finishing machine. The levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow agent or color fixing agent will be used in this process.
 

Inspecting the dyed metallic elastic band by narrow fabric folding machine and ribbon metal detectors. Width, thickness, density, flatness, tidiness, stretchness, elongation, color fastness, color levelling, color precision, metals and so on, will be carefully checked and inspected at this process.
 

Packing the inspected elastic straps into layered bale or rolled spool wrapped with waterproof bags, then load them into strong export cartons with custom shipping marks.
