Manufacturing Processes

Covering the raw spandex with nylon yarn, so to avoid spandex white exposure when stretch the dyed and printed fold over elastics.

 

Winding the nylon yarn and covered spandex onto the metal reel, which is called warping, then put the loaded metal reel onto the textile weaving machine to feed the warp yarns into the woven fold over elastics.

 

Weaving the greige of the shiny or matte surface fold over elastics made of nylon and covered spandex. Considering the widthwise shrinkage during dyeing and ironning process, the greige should be made a bit wider than the finished elastic tapes.

 

Dyeing the raw white greige of nylon spandex fold over elastics by continuous dyeing and finishing machine. The levelling agent, penetrating agent, detergent and anti-yellow agent or color fixing agent will be used in this process when necessary.

 

Manually silk screen printing the designs or labels on the dyed and shrunk fold over elastics which has much better effects than machine printing, then dry the prints automatically. Or dye sublimation printing the shrunk fold over elastics by heat transfer machines.

 

Inspect and pack the printed shiny or matte face fold over elastics by narrow fabric folding machine. The defective parts and shorter than 5 yards pieces will be eliminated during this process.

 

Packing the inspected custom labeled or designed fold over elastics into spool or layered bale, then load them into strong export cartons with custom shipping marks.
